Reviving Indian Culture: The SKC Movement Unleashed

Priyadarshini Datta

SONE KI CHIDYA

SKC, SONE KI CHIDIYA, a bird, a golden bird trapped in a cage. A bird who cannot unlock its true potential and a bird afraid of being stuck behind bars and societal norms. A bird which finally frees itself and breaks free from the cage that has been trapping it for years. At the end of the day, the bird is you and me. Want to become the bird which frees itself or the bird which is forever trapped? The choice is up to you.

A movement started by Aryan Mukherjee. This movement aims to revive Indian culture, bring back and glorify Indian history, unite people and bring about world peace. From connecting cultures of not only India but the whole entire world to having goals of changing the Indian education system, SKC is thriving for the betterment of the world and people.

The forgotten tale of great Indian ancient history or the dance forms of the different states or the wars happening around the world? SKC has everything organized on its plate.

OK, now you may think is this is all about revival of the world and India? Well our answer to you is NO. Simple two letter word, NO. You want to unlock your potential? You do not know your potential? Phone addict? Want to do something good for the world? Want to connect with others? Share opinions? SKC offers everything. From late night gaming sessions to late night working sessions, SKC has a balanced routine. A vibrant abstract palette is what we call it.

ARYAN MUKHERJEE

Enough yapping about this, Let us now move on to the founder, the messiah, everyone’s inspiration, all rounder, artist and gamer, ARYAN MUKHERJEE. Another victim of societal norms and cages. A trapped human who had dreams and goals. A human sick and tired of daily life and wanting to change something or the other. A human who came up with the idea of the revolutionary SONE KI CHIDYA movement. He is just like us, a human. The only difference? He worked hard for the change and did not sit around for that one ‘tomorrow’ that you and I keep waiting for. A ‘tomorrow’ that never arrives.

So from there started SONE KI CHIDYA. Basically the spawning of the golden bird.

Anyways…

MOVING ON.

START OF SKC

SKC  had spread like wildfire among class 11s and 8s. Everyone was crazy about it. People began joining and SKC started growing.  People began filling forms and started to take part in history. Active work started going on and the determination was set very high. People began unlocking their potential and started cooking up content for SKC.

22ND SEPTEMBER – DURGA TILOTOMA

Durga Tilottama, an event inspired  by Rabindranath Thakur’s efforts during the 1905 Bengal Partition, where he united Hindus and Muslims by having them tie rakhis to symbolize brotherhood.

After the horrific incident that occurred in RG KAR college, Kolkata, SKC took it upon itself to give justice to the victims. Not only was SKC  promoting brotherhood but it was also taking an initiative to bring about justice and speak publically about the incident.

SKC members, their families, and commoners everyone sat together under the sun in front of the south gate of Victoria memorial. The sun shone bright above their heads as everyone united together to be a part of HISTORY. Aryan Mukherjee stood in front of everyone showcasing his dominance and power as he gave his speech. Videos and photos were captured. People clapped and tied rakhis to each other. It was a wholesome and proud experience. Rakhis were tied to  a stethoscope symbolizing  justice towards the doctor who was the victim in the RG Kar incident. The sun set and the event came to an end. The proud event came to an end.

DOWNFALL

22ND done and dusted. Somehow the determination and motivation disappeared. Work became slow. People lost interest and started leaving. Bad comments were passed. People became ignorant. Things were not the same. One of the biggest downfall SKC faced. The hope left our bodies.

New heads of SKC were elected. New ideas were brought up. New creations were made. People started cooking again, cooking like never before. Ideas for the growth of SKC sprouted. The ideas were not only spoken about but also implemented.

Everything seemed to become stable…atleast for a while.

BONDING

Now ladies and gentlemen, enough of the serious yapping. Let me take you through a little of the fun rollercoaster. SKC definitely leaked our potential and made us stand out. SKC made us learn how to work in groups and take in opinions from everyone. Basically not be a self obsessed narcissist who has too much ego to accept others opinions.

Moving on. We, SKC members actually made unexpected new bonds. It was not only about professionalism but also cracking some jokes, playing games, yapping and having fun all while working. We never really understood when the friendship grew so much.

See, your workplace does not have to be a boring piece of shit. Sometimes if you do not drop in those regular jokes then shit gets boring.

HOPELESS

The unexpected downhill of ARYAN MUKHERJEE AND SKC. It was a dark time. Aryan Mukherjee felt like giving up. People began losing hope in SKC. Things went haywire is a short span of time.  The hope was gone. The motivation was gone. The determination was gone. Everything was lost. Last option for Aryan Mukherjee was leaving everything and giving up. The future held too much and was too overwhelming for the messiah to handle. Were things finally coming to an end? Is this what was expected?  Is this the destiny?

THE QUOTE

“Predicting the future instead of living the present.” That one quote that changed everything. Why stress so much about the future when the present is in your hands? Aim to change the present instead of stressing back and forth about the future. Future can hold anything. It is unpredictable. Present is in your control. You can either make an effort to change it or simply live with it. We all know what the messiah did. He geared up, took the opportunity, took the motivation and began cooking.

Aryan Mukherjee and his ideas never fail to disappoint us. So what is he exactly cooking and when will we get to know about it? Let’s see…

Pretty tiring to read all this? Thanks for sticking out till the end. You are a real one if you made it this far. Anyways enough yapping…

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to end with one last thing.

Do you think the lore is proud?
